about me

***Okay, before you read anything else about me on my profile read this:
Hey guys, lately WWC has been eating my free time, so I'm not doing any SWAP READS or ANSWERING READ REQUESTS. Sorry folks, this is just a short time hiatus, it's not permanent.

Salutations fellow Inkpoppers! I am a college freshman(majoring in Creative Writing/Publishing and tentatively Journalism), currently living in utterly gorgeous California, and intensely passionate about writing.

I am a complete and total bibliophile. Definitely hard core when it comes to reading and taking care of my books. I read a lot and I read fast. So on average I read about 4 books every two weeks; which burns a massive hole in my wallet. As a poor college student, you can imagine that spending all my money on books instead of food is not the best idea. What can I say, I'm an addict and yes I do have a problem. Amazingly I didn't like reading when I was younger. I attended a private school and they just sucked the fun out of everything. It wasn't until I was given a copy of Harry Potter and The Socerer's Stone, that the literary world opened up to me. I was about eight when I first read Harry Potter and eight 1\4 when I decided I wanted to be a writer. Truly there is nothing that I love more than creating my own worlds and breathing life into characters within those worlds, using only my words. It is incredible what words can do. Ultimately my goal is to finish writing a novel and see where life takes me from there.

I love throwing ideas around, talking shop, swapping book reviews and pretty much anything and everything that has to do with books and writing. Fiction is my handle but I like to step outside the cube too.

Poem

The components of a human are thus: one part flesh, to one part bone, with equal parts mind, and two parts soul.

somewhere there is a piece missing.

Poem

Saying goodbye is never easy.

Letting go is hard enough to do without never really knowing if in my heart it was never meant to be you.
