about me

interests: read, write, tell stories, watch movies, listen to music. dramatic scenes in a novel or film always stood out for me. happily ever afters are okay once in a while but the heart breaking endings that make you realize life is inexplicably short are like vivid memories in my head. i'm a bit of a realist but reading and writing stories is my escape. make me feel your pain, your joy, discomfort, desperation. convince me of your reasons. give me the feeling that i was right there in the moment of your reactions. make me cry, laugh, smile or frown. there's nothing better than to get lost and connected to a story.

Detaching From Indifference

by Demie Butler

Short Story: , Mystery, Romance

The idea of being around someone like that seems frightening and discomforting but, how can i judge him when I'm no better.

My whole life I've felt like something was missing. I can't describe it completely, not yet. The thought of even telling you about him may be risky for the both of us but one more risk won't kill me, right? Not after all the chances I've already taken. My past was never brought up until he came along. No one has ever asked me about the things that have been done before my eyes. The beginning was playful like every other couple getting to know each other. As the days passed by we learned more about each other. So things got serious. My weakness was his. The only thing that kept us together. The only thing that might keep us apart.

When is it enough?

What do you do when your heart is taking over you?
