about me

“The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it, because it’s only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die, but things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.”
-Chuck Palahniuk

"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different"
-Coca Chanel

"Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us dragons exist, but because they tell us dragons can be beaten." - G. K. Chesterton

“You must be strong now. You must never give up. And when people make you cry and you are afraid of the dark, don't forget the light is always there.”

Agh, everyone's doing random facts...
1) I suck at making these...
2) Juniors? Amazing.
3) I'm listening to Mariah Carey right now.
4) My head hurts. Maybe it's because I'm listening to her?
5) I changed to Jack Johnson.
6) My head is feeling much better.
7) These lists are fun.
8) I may be a grammar/spelling perfectionist...
9) Criminal Minds rocks.
10) So does Sydney Carton.
11) I just ate pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and olives.
12) I pulled off the mushrooms.
13) I don't like mushrooms.
14) Well, this list is stupid...
15) Why are some cherries on here pink and others are white? CONFUSION.
16) Mariah Carey came back on. Let's listen to The Beatles instead, and when I say, "let's," I pretty much mean just me.
17) What to write... oh, well, probably my name.
18) My name is Meg.
19) That's pretty much it...

My Boyfriend's Sins

by dobbytheninja

Short Story: Humor, Romance, General Fiction

Hearing about your boyfriend's cheating escapades is never fun. Having to hear about them after everyone else, well, it's much worse.

Hazel does not have the perfect life. She does not have the perfect family, and she does not have the perfect boyfriend. She knows this, and she never thinks otherwise, but never in her lifetime has she ever believed her boyfriend of cheating. Well, until the whole school witnesses it. Okay, guys, this is an especially new story, and I sort of want to keep writing on it. Should I? Thanks so much :)))

The Dummies Guide to Getting I...

by dobbytheninja

Short Story: Romance, General Fiction, Humor

When Nora is pushed into being inducted to A Haveren Fov, she has no choice. But the secret society's morals might just be too much...

Nora must become a member of her school's secret society, A Haveren Fov once she is accidently sent an invitation to one of their meetings that meant to go to her best friend, Chancey. Very soon, she absorbs herself in the group's morals and values. Another member (that is extremely striking, I might add) tries to help Nora leave the society, but it's not that easy. For anyone.---Okay, guys, this is meant to be a book, but until I have enough words, it's just going to be a long-ish story...---

The Hue of Imagination

Poem

I actually have no idea what this is about. Maybe a Peter Pan take on uniqueness?

This is seriously my first poem ever, besides school-related efforts. It actually sort of reminds me of The Giver and Peter Pan. I don't know, though. Maybe it's all hooey.
