about me

Hi! I'm Alia, I'm seventeen and a senior in highschool (finally). I've been writing since forever it seems and love it. It keeps me sane lol. My writing needs a lot of improvement, so if you have time, read my stuff, I could use the feedback.

I'm pretty new to this site, so still trying to figure everything out. If you've asked me to read your work, I promise I will eventually get to it :)

A four year old girl's memory of her mother having cancer

A fact was all it was. A statement I heard, but could not comprehend. I did not know what it meant, whether or not I should have been afraid. Being only four years old, there was not much I understood. Pieces and fragments of memories fill up my mind of scenes that seemed important.

A heartbroken girl finally lets it all go.

Thank you for this day, the day I no longer love you.

Poem

The feeling of when you are betrayed by someone you love.

All made sense even though I didn’t want it too. They had been in denial just as I had been. I only had chosen to believe what I had wanted to. Suddenly it became clear like a blind person being able to see.
