Hey guys,
Yes, I'm very obnoxious with my blog promotion but here it goes. I've been spreading around the news of doing a Inkpop author special on my blog: The Book Girl Reads. http://thebookgirlreads.blogspot.com/ I've decided that I really want to do this, starting in about two weeks. Here's how:

1. I'll be doing a cluster of mini-reviews on the Inkpop books I get once every week. The feature will be called Inkpop (insert day of the week here).
2. I want to treat you Inkpoppers as I do with published authors (because I think most of your projects should be published). You MUST email me: thebookgirl7@gmail.com and submit your pitch/review request. I will not be reading anything online because it isn't very convinient for my schedule. I will give you my blog mailing address and I will only accept printed and COMPLETED copies of your books to review.
3. I'm going to take this very seriously. Publishers, authors, and publicists do view my website on a regular basis and I do want to give your books exposure.

And yes, that's pretty much it. This message was to those who've heard about the possible Inkpop special and those who are completely new to this. Thanks for listening guys, I hope I get a big response because I'd love to work with many of you.
-Liz.

Are you a vampire writer sick of all the negative "Twilight" Backlash? Do you want to show readers that not all vampires sparkle? Is there just a vampire itch you have to scratch?

Then buddy, do I have a challenge for you!

On July 18th the Weekly Writer's Challenge launches 14th week with a vampire themed challenge. The "Give a Vamp a Chance" Challenge, is YOUR chance to show people that S. Meyer's human friendly sparkle-pires aren't the only way to go! Rise up to the challenge and prove that the vampire genre is "dead" yet!

Aw, thank you so much! To tell you the truth, that comment was enough to make me blush. I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's been such a long time since I've really WRITTEN anything, your comment gave me a boost of confidence that I hadn't lost the touch! I'm not too fond of profanities either, but at that moment I couldn't put it any other way, you know? That was needed, like peanut butter needs jelly.

Thank you so much, again! <3

Remember those fairy tales you used to read as a little kid? Ever think that maybe you could take that story and do something cooler with it? Well, the Weekly Writer's Challenge presents to you, "Re-Inventing a Classic"! Take your favorite fairy tale (or even one you were never quite satisfied with) and re-invent it. Change the setting, swap genders, switch time periods, change characters roles; do whatever you want to it!

Aaaand, the entries for this challenge will be taken and compiled into a single fairy tale anthology. A sort of "Inkpopper's Brother's Grimm", that will be made available for the rest of inkpop to enjoy.

Check out the challenge thread in the Inkpop Shop forum: http://inkpop.com/forums/threads/10256/wwc-wk8-re-inventing-a-classic/

Remember when forums were simply like, just promoting your work or asking questions? XD It's almost WEIRD. My only annoyance with the forums is those character chats. ;_____; So pointless.

Hello Kat! I am Chinese, born in Canada. Is that a Chinese character? How are you? I hope you are well! Would you like to be friends? I sent you a friend request. :-)

I wrote a fantasy book Heroes of Destiny inspired by faith and my Chinese-Canadian cultures. Would you be interested to read my story? I'd be honoured by your comments / pick if you liked my book! :-)

Looking forward to your reply,

Kevin Wong

Hello! I know these messages can become quite burdensome but I'll give it a go anyhow. I recently posted a story called: 'The Connotations of Butterflies'. The premise is fairly dark but I hope that won't bias your immediate impression of it. I'd love to hear what your own personal opinion of it is, and possibly consider it for your pick's. I'd be sure to return the favor in any way I can. Thanks so much for your time! I hope to hear from you soon.
All the best,
Drowning.Silently.

Hey!
Here's where I insert something clever to make you laugh and want to read my work but I'm fresh out of ideas so I'll just cut to the chase...
I would love to read your work if you'd take a look at my short story, "Just Us"
Thanks so much!

Hello, I was wondering if you might be able to check out my work, "Memoirs Of a Romantic".
I don't mind doing read swaps, and I return reviews to all those who review my work.

I'm trying to get this book ready for publication this year, and I'm looking for any suggestions
on improvements.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for you time!

Sincerely,

Joey Wright

Hey there,
My name is Emma and I'm currently working hard to promote my book *Lone Invader*. It's currently at position 190; and I would really love to get it higher. It is a work in progress, dramatic sci-fi novel, concentrating on the lives of a group of friends (and some of them are a little... weird) during an alien Invasion of Earth. If you have the time, I would truly appreciate you reading the book - even just the first chapters-, commenting, or adding to picks- just generally helping me in any way you can.
Thanks for your time guys!
=)

If you have some time I want you to read my poem “I Wish to See a Ray of Hope”. It’s quite short so it won’t take much of your time. =)

49 days ago is 15156415615 years in InkPopTime :O NO WONDER WE MISS EACH OTHER SO!

I am... I have been up and down. I think winter finally set in and just completely bummed me out. Ugh. I've gone through such a huge writers block, too, but I think I'm back. :D Woohoo! But I'd been the same as you for a while - just checking when I got a comment. I didn't even REPLY to the comments for a while. >.< [I contemplated leaving a message as a comment to get your attention teeheeheee!]

I've missed our crazy fun babbly conversations, too! And it's cool, about Guardians. :] I haven't done a lot of updating. :/ Part of that block. Trying to work on rewriting it, working on a new novel idea. @______@ Too many writing ideas. Eeep! But yoooou.... should give me your Twitter Username. So I can keep up with you off InkPop :D :D :D

BabblyBuddy! :D Maybe it started as Babble Buddy? HMMMMM. CLEARLY IT'S BEEN TOO LONG EEEK.
