wait so it wont be a sequel? just like, a brand new start on rain and her story? Or like new characters and everything? Becuase I dont think you can get rid of the old characters, that would be to wierd to get past in my opinion, but if its like the same people just a ne start on rains story then go for it! :)

Hello! I have two pieces of good news. Number one: chapters 30 and 31 of Summer Rush are gone forever! I locked them away in my Padlocked Safe of Awful Writing. And in their place are two completely rewritten chapters "30: Burn," and "31: As for the rest of Summer..." Both chapters will give you a hint as to what book 2, California Girl, is going to be about! Good news number two: my birthday is on Monday! What? I didn't say it was good news for everybody. My writing schedule says I should have 30,000 words of California Girl by this Tuesday. As I haven't written a single word, my new life's goal is to somehow reach that quota. If I do, I'm sure you'll all hear me screaming from pure joy, no matter where in the world you live. Gab

Originally, I didn't plan for a sequel b/c I like the unexpected ending. But I actually do have plans for a sequel but I won't work on it till next summer b/c I want to work on 2-3 other new projects.The sequel is called Summer of Second Chances. The cast would return to the beach the next summer with an addition of 1 or 2 new characters. It would be told in alternating POVs between Grace and Adam. Adam isn't with Tanith anymore and he wonders what it would've been like if he had chosen to be with Grace. He decides that this summer he would win Grace back, but he's in for a surprise when she comes with a boyfriend in tow. Grace is happy with her boyfriend but when she sees Adam, she can't help but remember their times together. She struggles with her feelings for both her boyfriend and Adam, especially when Adam is always popping up everywhere.

haha yeah :) But we will be sleeping in cabins! So, im trying to get to go on my school trip for spring break to WASHINGTON DC! yay! The 10-12 grayders are going to ROME! Anywayzzzzzzzz, my dad wants to chaperone and its like 2 grand...lol oh well emilaed the teacher hopefully i'll get toi go though!

Shane's such a sweetie and Jaylynn deserves a great person. I love her name, by the way. I feel like I already said that but I barely remember what I said in my comment because I was so tired at the time. Lol The more I've thought about it, the more I've sort of warmed up to Nathan. I really didn't like him at first but I totally get messing up. It was pretty awful what he did, but still. I hope he and Jaylynn get themselves straightened out and get back to being friends (:Gab
