call me sb, short for sarah beth. i'm an aspiring writer, clearly, and my friend lily showed me this site. my style is mainly short stories, and i tend to write romances, even when i try not to. i guess being a hopeless romantic can do that to someone. then again, i'm pretty cynical too. did i mention full of contradictions? oh goodness, i'm stopping this now.
wait, i was kidding. a little background, yes? i started writing, believe it or not, on a website called tcm (the clique movie), a fansite for lisi harrison's series, the clique. my stories were pretty bad, and very short. the longest one is about thirty pages on microsoft word. then, i moved onto tco, one of my addictions. it was basically just a forum for girls aged 12-19. i mainly stuck to the writing section there. i left the site a while ago, but feel free to send me a message if you want the link or something!
my writing ability has increased drastically. i'm a grammar fanatic, and i love reading other people's work. i'm also on fictionpress.com, my username is: sarahbethx3. look me up maybe? haha.
i love meeting and talking with other writers, so please send me a message or something, i'm incredibly talkative (if you couldn't already guess).
just a heads up: i'll gladly try and read your work, but my eyesight is failing, so i can't spend too much time reading from the computer screen. okay, now i'm finished for sure :)
projects:
"don't" - this is a one-shot. it is complete, for now. i have other stuff i'm working on, but i might pursue this in the future.
"take me away" - has been deleted and is going under a huge makeover, title and all. be prepared for a new story, no, a new book. it's going to be longer and better, so keep an eye out for it.
i have a few other projects i'm editing and preparing for submission to inkpop, so be ready!
