Awww that's so cute :) i was completely shocked when she had a boyfriend!! I thought she was single at first and her best friend would probally end up wit her.... Which that happened but yeah(: that was adorable and very sweet.

I like this: Both Francie and Sean's personality captured me, as did Francie's voice.

small suggestions:
- Take out the last ending sentence about him walking away. I feel its so common to end a chapter with "his walked away" thinking it adds some mystery, but I think it would be more powerful if you left it off at "Jack's a lucky guy, make sure he knows that"

Keep writing, this definetly has potential!

Wow! I have actually never read anything like this before, but I loved it. It is SO TRUE. I have known a few couples to end up being like this as time goes on. It is sad for sure...but I loved it. Great job writing the truth!
