about me

well... let's see...... um, i'm jessica. i'm seventeen years old.i love to draw and write. i'm not a really great writer, but i would appreciate it if people would read my work, comment and give me pointers on how i can do better. i will do swaps, but am not guaranteeing that i will read your project immediately. i don't have all the time in the world for inkpop, due to having a job and trying to finish up school and such. but i will read as soon as possible.personally my favorite of my writings below is "to chase the wind" and would prefer that you read that one, but if you want to read my autobiography instead that will suffice also. i'm not a fan of books about vampires and werewolves and the like, but if the writers of such books want to do a swap, i'll read at least the first chapter of your book. and lastly, before i close this little blurb thing. i'd like you all to know that i am a christian, beware of my writings, there are very definate christian overtones in all of them. if for some reason you don't like it you don't have to read it, however, if you say something negative about my god or my moral convictions i retain the right to take up the defensive.
god is my life, he is the only real truth and apart from him there is no purpose to my life. i know i'm a sinner like everyone else, believe me, i know that very well. i can't even begin to say all the times i've fallen short and turned away from god or taken him for granted. but for some reason that i fail to understand he has chosen to love me anyways and for that i am grateful. i love him because he loved me first, on my own i'm utterly incapable of any good thing.

My teenage autobiography

by Jessica_Treadway

Book: General Nonfiction, Memoir/Autobiography

Well, what is there to say? This is my autobiography, and through it I hope to bring honor to my Savior.

Hey, I’m Jessica, and this is my autobiography. It almost feels odd to me to write a story of my life and if you knew what a generic, unadventurous life I’m a part of, you would probably agree. However, this is my testimony, the proof positive that God exists and is active in our lives. I am writing this more for my own benefit than for anyone else’s because of how often I have a tendency to fall into despair, convinced that God is not working in or through my life. Please, take time to read this, our God is truly awesome, I hope and pray that above all else God will be glorified and Jesus Christ magnified in this, my story. -Jessica Treadway Phil. 2:5-8 “Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus. Who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped. But emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, being made in the likeness of a man. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”
