Hey, my name is Rachel. I'm thirteen, and literature is my life. If you don't believe me, then you don't know me.
I love writing, as might be inferred from the fact that I'm on this site, and am always with my nose in a book. Which is good, because if I try to do anything involving movement... well, let's just say I've got enough klutzy skills to break my wrist flying a kite.
Ever since Twilight, I've become enamoured with all things paranormal. I dream of joining the supernatural.
In the time when I'm not writing, reading, or at school, I'm either listening to music, watching movies, or on the computer. I'm reading/editing some friends' books, and we all brainstorm together. Once we acted out a scene in an ice rink and it almost exactly fit the description in the book: disastrous.
I dream of being published one day, and already have the first seven book in a series named, the first four of which I have already begun writing. Don't tell me I'm insane; I am already aware of that fact, as well as the fact that I am a complete and total nerd, and I'm proud to be one. I enjoy my life and I don't care what other people think, which, in my opinion, is the best way to live. If you let other people determine who you are, you never truly shine. Also, if there weren't at least some insane people, some of the best books and films would never have been created!
My first book, Dead or Alive (narrated by a necromancer), about a young group of supernaturals just discovering their powers, is currently in progress, though I do have almost the entire storyline semi-planned out. For a synopsis, just leave me a message and I'll get back to you. The sequel is called Losing Humanity, narrated by my werewolf, and has been begun. (Crazy, I know, but give me a break.) The other books are titled Below the Surface, Past and Present, Coming into Power, In My Own Blood, and Of Fire and Fury, and are narrated by a siren, time-seer (I can explain that one, a product of my own imagination), witch(es), vampyre, and demon, respectively.
I have been told that I write on a college level, and while you may not agree, I hope you take the time to appreciate my work and can see in it the thought, care, and meaning I tried to make evident. Blessed be, reader, and please enjoy!
