about me

Current people who I have to read! I'll just call you CPWIHTR. CHECK THIS OUT!

IF I PROMISED TO READ SOMETHING OF YOURS, IN A SWAP OR ANYTHING ELSE, PLEASE MESSAGE ME SOON! I FELL BEHIND IN MY READING AND COMPLETELY FORGOT WHO AND WHAT PROJECTS I HAVE TO READ. I'LL ADD YOU TO MY READ LIST!

I intimidated myself with the caps... wow.. But yes. do itttt. Today, tomorrow, soon! Please.

Okay, let me see... since it seems that a lot of people put there age here, I think I should expose mine. Oh gasp! I'm 15. :) Just a regular old high schooler trying to write as best as I can. Yay?

I love writing, reading, drawing, music and multitudes of other things :] I hope to improve in my writing by joining this site. I don't exactly plan to become amazing here... but I do plan on publishing sometime in the future. Once I'm better.

I really love those kinds of stories that are kind of depressing and... I don't know. Like, mental hospital, suicidal, cutter kind of thing. I'm not sure why I'm so interested in that kind of thing, but I don't see a lot of it on here besides in poetry.

BUT! Comedy and Romance are also things I like... And anything else, unless it involves some sort of crazy world where you don't understand and your left going whaaaa? Yeah. Then, no. I'll read fantasy, but not when it's too crazy.

Picks policy... only if I fall in love with your work. Don't ask me to pick something of yours after I read it, because that just turned me off COMPLETELY from your swap read. It really does. I feel it's just so... bah. I don't know.

Other then all of this randomness, thanks for either visiting and/or reading. I appreciate it so, so much.

Also, I will only read your stuff if you read mine. SO... swap-reads, is all. YEP, that's that. :) NOTHING ELSE. Unless you ask so nicely. Which people won't, since they don't normally read the profile! Eat that, suckers!

One way to check if people read is to say this: If you request me for a read, somewhere in your comment mention 'whale blubber' and I'll happily read your stuff. If not, please don't expect it from me. Really.

Paranoia, voices, hallucinations, and delusions haunt Haley like a never ending nightmare. Who will save her?

In a haunting account of how schizophrenia effects the life of a teenage girl, "Schizophrenia" twists around the fears and hallucinations that a patient with the extreme mental disorder would have and feel. A raw picture is painted through Haley's eyes as she goes through the seventeenth year of her life in morbid and tremendous fear of the unknown and how she is saved from her own demon.

Completely Average

by Mailreaper

Book: General Fiction, Humor, Romance, Adventure

I’m completely average, nothing of interest. There’s something wrong here. The Romeo and Juliet scenario does not and absolutely will not exist. I swear it.

Johnny Spinnaker doesn't consider himself anything special. When his sister forces him to go on a roller coaster, he finds himself seated next to a girl that seems to change his life for the next millenia or two. The long-distance friendship with her living in Chicago and him in Aurora quickly turns into something Johnny never expected to have; a relationship. Valerie takes him into another world of risks and danger he would not have expected to recognize, the streets of Chicago a dangerous place at night. And what about his parents's disapproval of their relationship entirely?

Whoever said Killing was a Bad...

by Mailreaper

Book: General Fiction, Adventure, Mystery

Another mission over, another defeated enemy, another cash prize for me. Whoever said killing was such a bad, bad thing?

When Michael Halt kills a cop’s wife in an assassination, his world is flipped around. Placed as a witness, the assassinator is forced to be a cop’s assistant in order to solve the murder case. In between his killer job and new cop 'best friend,' Michael must avoid the stupidity: find himself as the killer and turn himself in. Who knew killing a female drug dealer would get him into such a mess?

Heart Strings

by Mailreaper

Book: General Fiction, Romance

I was gay. But Zack held on to me tightly...
One boy with a broken mind. Another with a dark secret.

The world was something completely different to Nick Grays. Everything was something to be explored while helping people was something to be done. Helping others, though, made Nick figure out something startlingly true about himself. He was gay, and he would be hated for it. Closing himself from the outer world, Nick becomes inactive with anyone around him for years. When Zack comes along and pulls him out of the darkness, things get happier and wilder for Nick. Who in the world was Zack before they met? And what secrets is he hiding that Nick hasn't dared to ask about?

(Just so there's no confusion, Nick is a guy, Zack is a guy. :) Male cast. Two people were already questioning the genders, so I thought I'd put it up).

Unstable: The Last Battalion

by Mailreaper

Book: Adventure, Science Fiction/Fantasy, General Fiction

Population on Earth: 100,000
Number of Human Lifeforms: 100

Lechians were creatures with minds, formed from humans themselves. They controlled, plotted, and killed. Deteriorated and without a face, the monsters took control of Earth in means of war, humans escaping to the nearby planet Reona to stay alive as a species. They sent Battalions to destroy Lechians, in order to take their world back. Now, there's only one Battalion left bent on continuing their mission. To destroy this menace and bring Earth back to its former glory.

But Lechians created a chemical, one that, if injected into a human, mutates their DNA. Humans develop strange powers that could help Lechians take control. One downside accompanies it: if the power is used, the DNA is deteriorated and the lifeform destroyed. Only the creatures have the neutral element, and the only way to get it is to join their side and help control the world, and eventually, the universe.

Diseased Complexion

by Mailreaper

Short Story: , Paranormal, Adventure, General Nonfiction

A concealed gender, petrifying disease, and bomb squad job. Can things get any worse? Oh yeah, the mythical creatures. Right. I forgot about them.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS: TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF IT SO FAR!

"Oh yeah, life couldn’t get any better than this. Living in the poorest region of the city, working my butt off on the bomb squad and having to live with a deadly disease… well, maybe it could be just a little happier."

Alex Kingman has one thing on her mind: keep up her job on the bomb squad in the harsh year of 2030 just to keep her hospital bill paid for. The problem? Her mother's sick, their living conditions are in the trash dump part of Chicago, and she has to keep her gender a secret to continue getting money. On top of that, she's constantly being pestered by a stupid vampire. Yeah, a vampire. She could have been stuck with a fairy or a dancing monkey, but no. It had to be a blood sucking beast that hates the smell of her blood.

Balancing out her day job, her constant disease induced attacks, and the vampire idiot who keeps stalking her, she figures she needs a gameplan. Either die in an explosion or take care of her mother.

Easy enough, right? Heck no.
