about me

Hey! I'm Vicky.

I really don't have a whole lot to say. Ironic, right? I've been writing seriously for four years now. I've written eight Young Adult fiction novels, some mainstream and some paranormal. I'm pretty prone to write about anything, from teenage angels to rock bands. I'm into any and all literature, especially those with happy endings.

If you're into my work, drop me a line, and I can't wait to read yours!

Anti-Boys

by InconstantMoon

Book: Romance, General Fiction, Humor

A novel about a girl with misconceptions.

America Van Roy just wants to be left alone. She has had enough of boys and their problems. So, a few months into her junior year of high school, she decides to become anti-boys. However, after an accident involving a PE class and a flying football threatens her health, America is rescued by a knight in shining armor. End of romantic story, right? Wrong. Caleb Bartlette, the new kid in school, who everyone can't get enough of, tries every trick in the book to get America's attention, but she's not caving. Even though she finds him charming, handsome, and impossible to avoid, America won't show anyone what's going on inside her broken heart.

From the Ashes

Book: General Fiction, Romance

It's then that it occurs to me that I will be exactly as alone here as I would be back home.

Jenna Bailey has a secret. She used to be fun loving and out-going, but now she keeps her eyes down and her mouth closed. Everyone can tell she has changed, but no one is sure why. When Jenna decides to spend a month with her sister in Orlando, her parents think it’s just a last hoorah before her first semester of college. For Jenna, it’s her last chance to get away from what she’s done. As July wears on, Jenna finds herself being ignored by her sister, but she finds a friend in her sister’s dog-walker. In one month, he reminds her what it means to open up and trust, something she was positive she would never do again, and she finds herself questioning how much longer she can keep her secret from him. Somehow, she has to find the courage to tell him why she has changed. She has to stand up to the parents she has spent her life trying to please, and she has to face the guilt buried within herself.
