A poem about breast cancer, surgery, and realizing what exactly body image means.

I wrote this after I almost died, and had emergency surgery that gave me a scar from my chest to my abdomen. While recovering from the surgery, dealing with the scar, I had to look at myself in a whole new light... And I discovered how.
