The Passenger

by Annibal

ShortStory: Adventure, General Fiction, Mystery

His best friend has disappeared and there's a ghost haunting his passenger seat. Great.

Leslie's had some bad luck, not the least of which was his parents naming him a girl's name. His best friend, Ben, has disappeared, right after graduation, leaving him with the lemon of a car they'd bought together for the purpose of putting their hometown in Wisconsin in their rear view. Plus, he's got a freakin' ghost haunting his passenger seat. That's just great.

'Motion-activated attack ghost'. -snorts with laughter- that's awesome.

Wisconsin! Woot woot! (I love WI)

You've got a great story here. It moves quick, but that's find, keeps the blood pumping. About halfway down, where they're asking why he would go to Pennsylvania, someone says 'Why would he go to Utah?' or something. Where did Utah come from?

Okay, now I'm finished. - WHAT. How did Jordan die? Don't do this to me! D=

Interesting characters, odd plot, great story. Will there be/Is there more?

I thought this was an interesting short story. It was fun to read. And I have to say I enjoyed reading Leslie's reaction when he saw Jordan. And I just love Jordan's personality. She's so fun. Anyways, keep up the good work
