We’ve existed in peace until now, and now I have to fix it.
Long ago, a group of people came to a valley. The forest there was wild with life never seen before. The people, only wanting a home, made a treaty with the forest – that We shall not harm anything without cause, We shall not take without payment, We shall not enter without invitation or permission, and We will always honor the forest as our Mother and Life Giver.
It was never broken until Sai’s father – the leader of their village – died, and his best friend takes his place. But he proves a different man from when her father was alive. He wishes to conquer the forest the village has lived with peacefully until now.
Forced to marry him, Sai is contacted by a Guardian of the forest who says they wish for peaceful ending to this tale before war breaks out between the two forces. Yet, there are secrets to Sai’s life that the forest holds the answers to. Without a solution, the Guardians will come and wipe away the village. But as answers come to Sai, which side will she choose?
