I extracted this poem from my book, The Embryo Man.
I wrote it while walking in the land of the shadow dwellers.

That was great... really dark. It gave me chills :) Very good description. This is so powerful... Love it love it!!
This is great! It really makes the reader feel that "haunting and dark" aura. It plays very well with the different elements of darkness and ties them in very neatly to create the kind of poem that gives you a nice little light chill when read. And I must agree with JaquieC and Cassie Smith, the way you ended it with "Am I to die in this padded room?" was a brilliant exit for your poem. Well done!

SO GOOD! I love how dark it is, and yet I can relate. It's like I've been in this other world before, felt that padded room. This is spectacular.
